Bri Kennedy, LPC

For the past 13 years I have worked in homes, schools, residential units, foster care and the general community. I am passionate about helping my clients succeed in life. As mental health concerns increase in our youth, I see more and more importance in helping our young people learn how to cope with adversity, find hope and healing for their hurts and traumas, and ultimately grow and develop into successful adults who are able to withstand all the pressures and roadblocks that stand in the way of young people today. I love watching young people push forward and flourish and family bonds strengthen. I want to make sure that parents feel connected to their children (whether young or grown) and that children grow up feeling cared for, supported and successful despite whatever obstacles stand in their way.

I grew up in the Bucks-Mont area and ever since I was young, I wanted to know all the ways to help those around me dealing with hardship and adversities. I went to school to become a counselor and have been working with mental health ever since. I am trained in EMDR and NMT but I am also informed by several other modalities including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems) and other treatments that contribute to the end goal of holistic healing and empowerment to move forward when we are dealt with life’s hardships.
