“If we do not transform our pain, we will most assuredly transmit it”

- Richard Rohr

Getting Started…

  • Complete the contact form or call us at 267-753-4410 and leave a voice message with your name, phone number, and a description of your concern.

  • The consultation call is 30 minutes. Together you and our intake coordinator can ask questions and determine your needs. From here, one of our counselors will schedule an in-person or telehealth therapy session with you.

  • Before your 1st session, you will receive an email to set up your own private and confidential client portal. Complete the important documents before your 1st session. All telehealth appointments will occur through your private client portal.

  • The first session is an “intake session” and involves answering questions about your background, present concerns, and needs.

  • Feeling a sense of safety and connection with your counselor is important. Together we will create a customized care plan focusing on your goals and needs. On request, your counselor can provide a Good Faith Estimate which outlines services and costs, so there is no surprise.

*If you are in distress or in need of prevention and crisis resources please call the PA Crisis Help Line 988 , or 1-800-273-8255, or call 911.

Payment for Counseling

  • Flourish Counseling Center provides fee-for-service, which means payment is out-of-pocket.

  • We do not currently accept insurance, but will gladly provide a superbill upon request to submit to your insurance provider.  Some insurance plans may reimburse anywhere from 20%-70% for out-of-network providers. We have also partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits. Click here to see if you qualify!

  • Check with your plan or contact your insurance provider before the start of sessions to clarify any out of network benefits.

  • Click here if you would like to learn more about receiving a Good Faith Estimate.
